Just a side note from my new friend, Kevin Young:
In the PR shot for the film that got used the main promo picture-Patrick and James
standing there in uniform with two flags behind them, notice that one of the flags is a
Texas flag. Why? Because that was taken during the Churubusco scenes, and the
only flags on set were the US and Texas flags (for the American Volunteers). Just
happened that way. One of the historical problems was that there were no Texas
troops at Churubusco (but Ray Herbeck's re-enactment group did Texas Rangers,
so...).
Second funny. Look at Patrick's right hand. You will see something white in it. That
is a Styrofoam coffee cup. We took this shot during a break in the filming, and he
had it in his hand. He tried to cup it, but...
